The Use of Corporate Seals

As a follow-up to these articles, we have located advice on the correct uses of a corporate seal regarding company documents.

According to Harvard Business Services, the corporate seal is a resource used to imprint official business conducted on behalf of your company. It consists of your company name, incorporation year and state filing. HBS also recommends that the documents that should display a corporate seal should include some of the following:

– Employment Contracts
– Board of Directors Minutes – Current Loan Documents
– Vendor Agreements
– Current Leases
